Stephanie loves working at the intersection of intensive research and meaningful application. As a Program Associate at Acton Family Giving, she focuses on bridging divides and building empathy.

Prior to joining PFS in 2017, Stephanie worked as a research associate at the Nature Lab, a hands-on STEM education facility and natural history collection at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). In addition to developing and running workshops to demystify tools and technologies that can seem intimidating, she taught a course at RISD that examined truth construction in the context of science fiction, pseudoscience, magic, selective attention, and the neuroscience of deception.

Stephanie received her MFA in digital media from RISD and her BA in human biology with a neuroscience concentration from Stanford University. She loves wandering around the Bay Area and trying every variation of taco.
