Rob provides financial reporting, cash management, and budget development for our client foundations. He also strategizes with investment managers and oversees cash positions, raising cash, and estimated tax payments. Beyond that, he finds his reward in visiting grantees to gain an appreciation for their mission.
Rob joined PFS in 2010 and has a deep knowledge of financial management for foundations. As a senior accountant at the Jewish Federation of San Francisco, Rob provided services for many of the agency’s donor-advised funds and supporting foundations. He also served as the investment accountant at Simmons College in his hometown of Boston. Previously, Rob taught middle school math and social studies in New York for three years. After returning to Boston, he began studying finance in the MBA program at Suffolk University.
Rob received his BA in education from the State University of New York at Brockport. He enjoys cooking, with his specialties being baked pasta, shellfish dishes, and—a true New Englander—seafood casseroles and pot pies.
