Senior Program Officer
Eunice is executive director to four client foundations, and the commitment of their trustees and board members is a daily inspiration. She enjoys guiding them in strategic planning and ensuring that both donors and grantees get the most out of every grant.
Eunice’s rich and diverse experience includes 25 years of executive positions with civic, cultural, and health and human services organizations, including the Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek, Volunteer Center of Sonoma County, and the YWCA of San Francisco and Marin. She began her career at the United Way in community planning and grantmaking. Eunice is on the board of directors of the Santa Rose Symphony and volunteers for cultural organizations and international women’s programs.
Eunice holds an MFA in writing and literature from Emerson College, an MSW from Ohio State University, and a BA in psychology and sociology from George Fox University.
Since the age of 8, writing has been Eunice’s passion. In 1995 she published Woman in ’Nam, a long essay about her time volunteering in a children’s hospital in Vietnam; she is currently working on a novel. Time spent outside and near the water in Northern California revitalizes her.
