Emily Schroeder

Senior Program Officer

Emily works with foundations focused on the arts, youth development, early literacy, career pathways, and support for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. She’s energized by the variety of her clients and by meeting so many people doing valuable work in their communities.

Emily joined PFS in 2013 with deep experience in annual and major gift funding, corporate sponsorships, grant writing, special events, and board management. She led fundraising as the development officer for Face to Face AIDS Network and served as the community development director at the Arthritis Foundation. Before that, she was the program manager at Net Impact, a nonprofit that helps students and professionals use their careers to drive social and environmental change.

Emily received her BA in international relations and French from Claremont McKenna College. Raised in Northern California’s wine country, Emily lives in San Francisco and roots for the San Francisco Giants and the Golden State Warriors. She loves to travel, play tennis, and cook.
