Pacific Foundation Services is part of a coalition of funder networks and affinity groups promoting The Women’s Foundation of CA’s Philanthropy & Public Policy Institute.
In these times, the field of philanthropy is recognizing the value of investing in local and state policy work aimed at protecting and advancing people’s rights. The Women’s Foundation of California’s Philanthropy & Public Policy Institute (PPPI) provides an experiential three-day hands-on training program for funders and private philanthropists looking to learn how they can participate in policy advocacy or become more strategic in their public policy grantmaking. Co-Chaired by Senator Holly Mitchell and CEO Surina Khan, participants engage directly with policymakers, experts and leading advocates while connecting with fellow funders who are committed to effective, community-led and policy-based grantmaking.
Applications are now being accepted until February 27 for this year’s Philanthropy & Public Policy Institute, May 13-16, 2019 in Sacramento, CA. Learn more here!
