Vice President of Program
Judi joined PFS in 2016 and currently serves as Vice President of Program. She is responsible for overseeing the programmatic services PFS provides to its client foundations, ensuring a consistent and high level of quality work across all clients. Judi also serves as senior program staff for several foundations.
Prior to PFS, Judi held leadership positions in several philanthropic organizations, including Senior Program Officer at Peninsula Community Foundation where she directed the education and youth development portfolio and the scholarships program, Director of Programs at Northern California Grantmakers, and Senior Associate with Blueprint Research & Design. Most recently, Judi was founder and principal of Seven Hills Philanthropy, a philanthropic consulting firm. She has participated in several national forums on philanthropy for groups that include the Council on Foundations, Exponent Philanthropy, and the D5 Coalition.
Judi serves on the board of Samaritan House in San Mateo. She holds a B.A. from Yale University and a Ph.D. from the Stanford Graduate School of Education. A Midwesterner by birth but a Californian by choice, Judi lives in San Mateo with her husband and two children. In her free time she can be found enjoying the views from Sawyer Camp Trail with friends and family.
