Eunice Valentine

Senior Foundation Staff – North Bay

Eunice joined PFS in 2013 as a member of the senior foundation staff. Eunice manages the firms’ North Bay Office in Santa Rosa and serves as the Executive Director of Crescent Porter Hale Foundation, Kimball Foundation, Margoes Foundation and Gilmore Foundation.

Eunice has enjoyed a richly diverse career in management positions of nonprofit service organizations in health and human services as well as civic and cultural organizations. Prior to joining Pacific Foundation Services (PFS) she served as the Executive Director of The Volunteer Center of Sonoma County, a hub for over 10 services. She has also held Executive leadership positions with Lindsay Wildlife Museum in Walnut Creek, YWCA of San Francisco & Marin, RIDES for Bay Area Commuters, Resourceful Women and United Way in Cincinnati, Ohio and San Francisco Bay Area.

Eunice holds a Master of Social Work Degree from Ohio State University and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in writing and literature from Emerson College in Boston. Her undergraduate degree from George Fox University is in Psychology and Sociology. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Santa Rosa Symphony, and Hedgebrook, a women’s writers retreat center on Whidbey Island, near Seattle. She also volunteers as a mentor and advisor for several international women’s programs, having served herself as a volunteer in Danang, Vietnam. Eunice is a longtime resident in the Bay Area and currently lives in Santa Rosa. She enjoys hiking, biking, long walks on beaches, golf and is an avid reader, a writer and loves jazz and classical music.
