Erin Lingren

Grants Manager

Erin joined the grants management team at PFS in 2015, bringing over six years of nonprofit capacity building and program management experience to her work as Grants Manager. She is committed to serving philanthropy and the nonprofit sector by supporting efficient and effective grantmaking practices across her client foundations and their grantees.

Prior to joining PFS Erin worked at CompassPoint Nonprofit Services as an Associate Project Director, leading the operations of CompassPoint’s leadership initiatives including the Leadership Development Program for Managers and Executives Serving Transition-Age Youth, the Strong Field Project Leadership Development Program, and the Leadership Development Program for Next Generation Leaders of Color. She has also served several internships with other organizations including the International Rescue Committee, which responds to humanitarian crises around the world, and with the Performing Arts Workshop, a San Francisco-based nonprofit dedicated to helping young people develop critical thinking, creative expression, and basic learning skills through the arts. Erin earned a master’s degree in Public Administration, with emphasis in nonprofit administration, from San Francisco State University and is a member of Pi Alpha Alpha, a national public administration honor society, and of the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action. She enjoys spending time outdoors as much as possible and is an avid white water kayaker.
