Dominique De Leon

Grants Manager

Dominique joined PFS in 2017 and provides administrative support to client foundations and PFS program managers. She enjoys being part of a process that strengthens local communities through philanthropy, and she loves working with people who are both passionate and compassionate in their work.

Dominique was previously a program coordinator at the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) in Washington, DC, which provides female journalists with the training, support, and opportunities to become leaders in the news industry. As part of the IWMF’s reporting fellowship in Africa’s Great Lakes region, Dominique co-led reporting trips to the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, and Uganda.

Dominique received her BA in international relations from Alliant International University. And she’s ready for anything: she has completed Hostile Environment and First Aid Training, which trains civilians going into high-risk areas in situational awareness, self-defense, and first aid skills.
