Cedrick Andrews

Program Officer

Cedrick joined Pacific Foundation Services (PFS) in 2016 as a program officer for Sunlight Giving and the Kimball Foundation. Prior to PFS, Cedrick was Associate Director at Single Stop, a New York-based nonprofit that provides coordinated access to social services through a proprietary technology platform and consulting services. There, he worked with funders, colleges, community-based organizations, and public agencies throughout California to help low-income families obtain support for stability and self-sufficiency.

Earlier in his career, Cedrick focused on college access and success in roles at community-based and national organizations. As Program Director at Meritus in San Francisco, he led a team that provided first-generation college students with scholarships, mentors, and career support. During his time at Meritus, Cedrick also served as co-chair of a collaborative network of youth development organizations in the Bay Area. At the Institute for College Access & Success (TICAS), he advocated for policies to improve federal and institutional financial aid, including student loan reform. In addition, he served as a consultant to the Ford Foundation for a portfolio of grantees under a national initiative to promote pluralism and academic freedom on college campuses.

Cedrick has a BA in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University and an MA in Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies from Stanford University. He lives in San Francisco and enjoys cycling and hiking around the Bay Area.
