Assist the board in identifying philanthropic interests and design grantmaking program to fulfill those interests; Work with the board to create a vision/mission statement, guidelines, and/or application procedures; Periodically review the foundation’s vision/mission statement, guidelines, and/or application procedures to ensure that they are accurate and relevant; Work with the board to periodically review the foundation’s impact in the communities in which it is funding and revise existing grantmaking guidelines to better meet the objectives of the board.
