The foundation prioritizes long-term funding relationships with existing grantees, and discourages unsolicited applications from organizations that have not received funding in the previous fiscal year.

Organizations based in Oregon are considered by invitation only.

We Support

The foundation makes grants to exempt nonprofit and public organizations based in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties in California, and in the state of Oregon in the following program areas:

  • Academic and artistic enrichment for children and young adults
     
  • Support services for the disabled
     
  • Food, shelter, and counseling services for families in need and disadvantaged individuals
