Grantee Spotlight

The Michelson Foundation has supported the work of Project SUCCESS since 2008. Through its multi-tiered programs, which include theater arts and classroom-based life skills workshops, Project SUCCESS motivates and inspires young people to dream about the future, helps them take steps to get there and gives them the tools they need to achieve their goals. 

 

 

We Support

The Michelson Foundation provides grants to organizations based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Twin Cities metro area of Minneapolis/Saint Paul through its three program funds:

  • Keystone Housing & Arts Fund: Supporting residential mental health housing and arts programming for adults with severe mental illness.
  • Purple Crayon Fund: Supporting programs that  inspire creativity and social engagement while elevating awareness for adults in their “encore” years through active engagement in the arts.
  • Purple Crayon Fund for Youth: Supporting performing arts education programs that empower children and youth through the performing arts, link arts-based education with academic achievement, and foster the professional development of teaching artistry.
