The trustees of the Winifred Johnson Clive Foundation live in many places throughout the United States. The foundation leadership encourages each trustee to bring proposals from his or her own community to be considered by the whole board, which meets twice each year.

For this reason, NO UNSOLICITED PROPOSALS ARE ACCEPTED. Please do not send letters of inquiry or any other materials to the foundation. If you are submitting a proposal at the invitation of a trustee, please be sure to include the trustee’s name in the application summary.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Winifred Johnson Clive Foundation to keep the spirit and passions of Winifred Johnson Clive alive through its commitment to continue funding programs and organizations that she supported during her lifetime and to respond to new organizations that embody and extend her philanthropic heritage. To accomplish these aims, the Winifred Johnson Clive Foundation will fund projects in the areas of her Churches, Education, The Arts and Wildlife Conservation. The Mission also includes responding to the challenges of Aging and to promoting the Welfare of Children and Animals.
