The trustees of the Winifred Johnson Clive Foundation live in many places throughout the United States. The foundation leadership encourages each trustee to bring proposals from his or her own community to be considered by the whole board, which meets twice each year.

For this reason, NO UNSOLICITED PROPOSALS ARE ACCEPTED. Please do not send letters of inquiry or any other materials to the foundation.

If your organization is contacted by a trustee, then the trustee will provide your organization with the guidelines and forms that you will need in order to apply for a grant.

Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Winifred Johnson Clive Foundation to keep the spirit and passions of Winifred Johnson Clive alive through its commitment to continue funding programs and organizations that she supported during her lifetime and to respond to new organizations that embody and extend her philanthropic heritage. To accomplish these aims, the Winifred Johnson Clive Foundation will fund projects in the areas of her Churches, Education, The Arts and Wildlife Conservation. The Mission also includes responding to the challenges of Aging and to promoting the Welfare of Children and Animals.
